Week 12: November 13-17
Academic Updates:
Math: We will be subtracting teen numbers.
Foundational Skills: Our focus this week is on the long o sound using the VCe spelling pattern in words like: zone, home, cone, cyclone, and joke.
Comprehension Skills: We will be applying what we learned about inside and outside character traits to our writing.
Ask your Firstie:

How are teen numbers made? (10 and some more?)
If I have 10 pieces of candy and you have 5, how many pieces do we have altogether?
If Uncle Fred has 17 pieces of candy and gives you 7 how many pieces will he have left?
